The County Cup will be taken out of storage in a bank vault somewhere, to be presented to Gourock Park for a photo shoot on Friday the 27th August. The RBA Directors and guests will also attend, where a game and buffet will take place. I hope to be there to capture this special occasion and pictures, video etc will be on the site as soon as possible afterwards.

Some of you may have noticed that I removed the 'clubscene page'. This was done simply as it was not being used, except by a few people. I had hoped that site visitors would have used that page to share news, write reports and
give results etc, so as the rest of us could read it, but sadly it did not seem to interest enough!

The Mathie Pairs was won by Terry Duffy and Alan Crighton, they defeated Joda Reid and Kyle Wilson by 21 v 4 on Wednesday evening.

Several other competions have still to come to a conclusion. The Two bowl Singles and Pairs, The Non -Prizewinner Singles and Nominated Triples.  Will report more on these when it happens.

This Saturday is the Gents versus The Ladies Wapinshaw. Come along and witness a real battle of the sexes!
