Fours League Division 2
Congratulations to Wellington Park on clinching the League Flag for the first time in I believe 18 years. They currently sit proud on 52pts and have an
unbeatable lead of 14pts over second placed Grosvenor.

Well done to Wellington and I am sure they will enjoy their achievement. 2009 has been a significant year for the club. Success has so far came in the shape of the G&D Top Ten title (For the fourth year running), Stephen McLellan retained the RBA Junior Singles, They also won the  Ardgowan Hospice, The Davidson Pairs and the G&D Young Bowlers. Sadly 2009 also brought sadness to Wellington, with the passing of Willie Quigley and I am sure he will not be far away from their thoughts as they celebrate a fantastic year of bowling.

As for the rest of the league, its all about who will clinch second place!
Grosvenor, Gourock Park, Victoria, Port Glasgow and Gourock can all still win that position, so there is still plenty to play for as the 2009 league season comes to an end.
