Summer 1999, Greenock hosted The "Cutty Sark Tallships Race" About 80 Tallships from around the Globe lined up along the Greenock Waterfront. Over the 4 day Festival it was estimated that over 800,000 Visitors came to witness this amazing event. Inverclyde Council are currently putting together a bid to bring this event back to Greenock sometime in the not too distant future. |
