Then onto Sunday. Did not plan on attending as was booked on a photography course elsewhere, but bad weather lead to a cancellation, which allowed for me to head for Mount Florida. A more detailed report will be submitted by John Freeburn, but in the meantime the results where as follows. Singles- Martin Bain (Croftfoot) 21 v 8 David Houston (Ralston); Junior Singles-
Graeme Irvine (Barrhead) 21 v 18 John Fleming Jnr (Wellington Park); Pairs was won by S Grainger and W Buchan of Lady Alice, they defeated J Booth & A Watson of Croftfoot. The Gents G&D League will come to a conclusion next Tuesday and there are still four clubs in contention for the Title. Victoria are a point ahead of Gourock Park, but their last game is a tricky game against Port Glasgow who sit in third place.
